Q: Why use Evolution Accountants?
A: We take an active interest in your business needs and goals. We offer upfront fee estimates so you know how much the assignment will cost.

Most accountants still use the old process of billing on an hourly rate. This means the slower they do the job the more you pay.

We guarantee a 24 hour turnaround time on phone calls and emails. We also guarantee a finish date for your assignment.

Q: Where are you located?
A: We operate from a professional home office at 56 Mayda St, Shailer Park QLD 4128 just north of the Logan Hyperdome and just before Springwood.

Q: I don’t live in your area, are you still able to help me?
A: Yes, we service clients from all over Queensland and interstate, we operate through email, couriers and post and via phone. With today's technology you don’t have to physically attend our office.

Q: How much do you charge for your services?
A: Unlike most accountancy firms, we offer up front quotes on your assignment. Most of our services have fixed prices or base starting prices. Our experience of quoting up front means that you get our best possible price without having to pay extra if we get bogged down in your job…. you wont pay any more. The price is fixed with only a few exceptions. The price will only vary if we find an error that was unexpected eg we need to amend a BAS or calculate an undisclosed capital gain.

Q: Can you help us make money?
A. Yes, Yes, Yes we are fully trained to spot deficiencies within your business and to help you improve your position. With tax planning we can assess your position and advise you accordingly saving you thousands. Constant contact will reap its rewards, eg. buying assets in a company may cost you thousands when you sell them. Likewise operating a risky business as a sole trader may mean your risking your house, car or other personal assets.

In addition, Evolution Accountants aim to make sure you claim every deduction and to assist you and your business to create wealth.

Q: Why should I join the VIP club?
A. The VIP Club is designed for clients who want special treatment hence the name VIP. All client assignments are started and finished on a first in first serve basis. The VIP club was specially designed for those clients who want priority servicing and added features and are prepared to pay a little more for the privilege. Have you ever wanted something NOW! By joining the VIP club you:

  • can move up the queue if you have something that is urgent, time permitting.
  • have access to resources the public don’t, which includes business tools, spreadsheets and business articles
  • you can opt for FREE 10min phone calls and emails throughout the year.
  • Your Tax returns, financial's and other reports we finish for you can be accessed from the web – great if you need to give them to the bank

Q: I have a bookkeeper, why can’t they do my accounting work?
A. good bookkeeper is definitely an asset to your business, they will allow you to get an idea of your financial position, keep you organised by doing all the number crunching.

At Evolution Accountants we take bookkeeping to the next level, we look past the numbers to create strategies to improve your businesses profits, cashflow, margins, reduce your exposure to risk and give you ideas on where to spend that hard earned cash. On top of this we can benchmark your business to the industry so that you can see how you compare to your competitors.

We also have regular training and access to professional resources as part of our professional development. This adds to the value we can offer to you.

Q: What is your turnaround time for our assignment?
A. Our normal turn around time is 4 week however it depends on the size of the job and time of the year. During our peak season July – December.

Turnaround times can double however we aim to meet all our clients’ expectations. We guarantee a completion date when we take on your assignment.

Q: Can you take the accounting fee out of our refund?
A. No, unfortunately we don’t operate a trust account, accounting fees will need to fully paid once the job has been completed and before lodgement.

We offer 2 forms of fee payment:

  1. Payment up front where you receive 5% discount (business clients only)
  2. 50% up front and 50% on completion
